How to set up Windows Live Mail

Outlook client mail is one of the favorite and in high demand by maximum online users. There is high chance that Outlook client mail already installed on your personal computer. As we all know the basic purpose of Outlook is to connect email server and download email so that you can easily access the information and check your email conveniently. I would like to share one more email client which you can select as good choice i.e. Windows Live Mail.

You are free to download and install Windows Live Mail. Once you install the Windows Live Mail then you will feel that there lot’s of similar feature as Outlook. It is also very easy and simple to set up Windows Live Mail with your email addresses.

So first of all you have to ensure that Windows Live Mails installed on system. Click on the round start button in the lower left hand corner. In the search field type "Windows Live Mail". If it comes up in your search you are good to go. At this point you may want to right click on it and pin it to your start menu so it will be a mouse click away. If it does not come up you will need to visit the link above, download and install.
Start Windows Live Mail just by click. You will find a dialogue box with the title "Add your email accounts".
Then you have to enter the following information to set up Windows Live Mail:

•    Incoming server information
•    Email Address
•    Password: Do not forget to check the "Remember this password" check box. Otherwise you have to enter password on every time.
•    Display name for your sent messages: Any name which you want to display.
•    Then you will find dialogue box says: "Configure server settings". You have to enter  the server information for your email provider and consists of the following:
•    Incoming server type: May be "POP" or an "IMAP" server type.
•    Server address: Enter the incoming server address for your service provider.
•    Port: Enter port of that your client will try and connect on. This will typically be 110 unless a secure connection is required. If it is the port will be 995. Check with your service provider if you get errors when done.
•    Authentication using: For Secure Password Authentication.
•    Logon user name: Same as user name.
•    Outgoing server information:
•    Server address: For outgoing mail server at your ISP support or call them.

Once it done you need to click on finished and the dialogue box will close.

You can see the main window for Windows Live Mail. See the Home tab at the top and select the option send/receive. Once you select this option all your pending emails will start downloading. It shows the Window live Mail setup done successfully.

Now just to add more email accounts click on the Accounts tab and click Email. Windows Live Mail came with Windows Vista but you may have noticed that it is not installed on Windows 7 by default. You can download it here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/looking-for-windows-mail
