Few Important Steps to know How to Integrate Microsoft Access and Outlook 2007

This post will help you to know that how you can integrate MS Access with MS Outlook 2007. I have found this feature of MS Access very useful so I am sharing it.

Sometime when you have to take input on same topic from many user and you are running short of time. In such condition, I believe this integration is really meaningful.
Let us read how we can integrate MS Access and MS Outlook without even having the sound knowledge of both. As we know MS Access is Database and MS Outlook is Email client so to collect the information at one location we need to integrate MS Access and MS Outlook both.
First make sure that MS Outlook is properly configure and working fine. You are able to send/receive email without any problem. Once you have confirmed that MS Outlook is running fine then check the MS Access too.
The steps to Integrate Microsoft Access and Outlook 2007 are as follows:
Step1: Open MS Access > Go to Sample > Create Database of your choice
Step 2: Enable the Security Option too.
Step 3: Create Database as per the required filed
Step 4: Once Database filed created than save the file
Step 5: Go to > External Data > Select Create Email Option
Step 6: Click NEXT > and Choose > HTML Form Option
Step 7: Select the Fields you want to include in MS Outlook Email
Step 8: Click Next
Step 9: Don’t forget to check the option ‘Automatically Process Replies’ > Next
Step 10: Enter the desire email address [Make sure the addressee must have MS Outlook on that email id]
Step 11: Create the Email Message and MS Outlook window will Pop up
Step 12: Just send that message to desired email id
Step 13: The recipient of the message will fill the required information and reply to you
Step 14: Check your MS Outlook mail and open that reply mail
Step 15: Go to MS Access Database and just refresh the table
Step 16: You will see the updated Excel table with new data which received by Ms Outlook Email.

Convert OST to PST If OST file Get Corrupted

OST file corruption give you trouble to work in the offline mode during Exchange Server is down. To access data from corrupted OST file it is important for you to convert OST to PST file with the help of converters so that you can easily view the contents of OST files by MS Outlook email client. Whenever, OST file not accessible by the email client then it become very important to convert OST to PST file.

As we know that OST file allow Outlook users to work in the offline mode during Exchange Server downtime. Also OST files enable users to access their mailboxes. It is sure you want to use multiple accounts on Outlook Express because you want save the time to login multiple accounts regularly.  



 Let us read the following tips to make it easy.

Tip #1:  You have to first search the type of e-mail account. It may be POP3, IMAP or HTTP. Also search the name of incoming and outgoing mail server it could be like mail.isp.com as incoming server and smtp.isp.com as outgoing server. You can get this information from your email provider.

Tip #2: Start Outlook Express.

Tip #3: Go to Tools menu and select the Accounts and Click on the Mail tab.

Tip #4: Click Add on the right side of the box and choose Mail. Then the Internet Connection Wizard will
appear.

Tip #5: Type the display name for the account (the name that appears in the From line of e-mail sent from that account). Click Next.

Tip #6:  If you already have the new account, click the top radio button. Enter the name of the account and click Next.

Tip #7: Type the mail server information you collected in the first step. Be sure to type the information as it appears in your notes. Click Next.

Tip #8: Type the user name as it appears on the account. The name is usually what precedes the address; for example, the account name of feedback@stellarinfo.com.com is "feedback."

Tip #9: For Multiple email accounts in Outlook Express - Type the password to access the account.

Tip #10: Confirm to Remember Password box if you don't want Outlook to prompt you for the password each time it checks the mail.

Tip #11: Click Finish. Repeat as needed for all e-mail accounts.

Tip #12: Edit account properties by clicking on the name and choosing Properties from the list on the right.

  Key point to Remember: If you have found any problem in incoming and outgoing mail server names then you have to contact the e-mail provider to find correct one. You can add up to 10 separate e-mail addresses.
