Select Tools and click Account Settings:
Highlight your email account and click Repair
Click Close and retry Send/Receive

- Click on More Settings and select the Outgoing Server tab.
- Select my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select Log in to incoming mail server before sending mail.
- Click Next and Finish.
